Natalie Scoles founded Mend labs in 2025. The idea came out of the everyday frustrations of clothing wear and tear. 

Like many of us, Natalie loved her favorite clothes, the cozy sweaters she wore constantly, the perfectly fitted pants that made her feel confident. But she found herself in a familiar predicament when her garments would develop holes and fray at the seams. Instead of being able to repair her go-to pieces, she had to toss them out and purchase new ones, which not only weighed on her wallet but also on her conscience. 

As she researched repair options, she quickly discovered that most solutions were costly and hard to find. She wondered what if there was a simple, accessible way to mend belongings that would empower individuals to extend the life of their stuff? So she began to create an easy-to-use platform that would enable users to repair their belongings by connecting them with resources like how-to videos, local craftspeople, and repair experts. Giving users the ability to restore their favorite things, and a steady source of new clients for the menders. 

Mend Labs is now currently focused on building a community around the brand and launching an MVP of the platform Mendfind.com
